Mould design and manufacture of plastic injection mold processing quality of the reason

In the process of mold design and manufacturing, there are many factors that will affect the quality of mold processing products, mold processing technicians summed up the following four factors.

1. Plastic packaging materials: plastic for the use of the complexity of the performance of the material determines the complexity of the development process of injection molding. The performance of plastic materials due to varieties, brands, manufacturers and even batches of different. Different properties to carry out the parameters may lead to different molding results to meet the enterprise completely.

2. Injection temperature:The melt flows into the cooled cavity and dissipates heat due to heat transfer. At the same time, a large amount of heat is generated due to different shear effects. This part of the heat transfer may be more or less than the heat dissipated by heat conduction, and the main development depends on the technical conditions of injection molding. The viscosity of the melt decreases with increasing temperature. Thus, the higher and higher the different temperatures of injection, the lower the viscosity of the melt and the less the required filling pressure is affected. At the same time, the injection temperature is also limited by the thermal degradation temperature and decomposition temperature.

3. Mold Design Temperature: The lower the working temperature of the mold, the faster the heat is dissipated due to heat conduction as well as the speed of heat is getting faster and faster, the lower the temperature of the melt, the worse the fluidity is. This is especially true when lower injection rates are used.

4. Injection treatment time: injection work time on the injection molding production process of the impact of students in three aspects: shorten the injection time, the melt in the shear strain rate will be increased, in order to a full cavity injection pressure required at the same time to continue to improve. Shortening the injection time will increase the shear strain rate in the melt. Due to the shear-thinning properties of the plastic melt, the viscosity of the melt decreases and the injection pressure required to fill the cavity decreases. Shortening the injection treatment time of the patient, the shear strain rate in the melt increases, the greater the effect of heat generation in the shear process, and at the same time less heat is lost due to heat conduction, so the temperature of the melt is high, the viscosity is lower, and the injection pressure required to fill the cavity for a we have to keep decreasing.

Due to the above three situations, the injection pressure curve needs to fill the cavity in a "U" shape. In other words, there is an injection time when the injection pressure required by the company is minimized.
